I spent nearly 8 years in the radio business from early 1995 until late 2002 in the Indianapolis area radio market. Duties included positions as Program Director, Music Director, News & Sports Director, Production Director, On-Air Morning Show Host(Gil & The Get Up & Go Crew), Midday, Afternoon Drive & Evenings. Formats with which I was involved include Oldies, Classic Rock, Adult Contemporary & Country. As host of a popular Classic Country Show, I had the honor of meeting and introducing many artists onstage at the Little Nashville Opry, County Fairs, & other venues... artists such as Tanya Tucker, Oak Ridge Boys, Statler Brothers, Ray Price, Jack Greene, Loretta Lynn, Brenda Lee, Louise Mandrell, Sawyer Brown, Charley Pride, Ricky VanShelton, Charlie Daniels, & Jim Ed Brown. I have emceed more events than I can remember, and will always cherish the memories and friends I made in the radio business. Throughout my radio years, I had the privelege of dee-jaying MANY wedding receptions, private parties, school dances & reunions. It is a deep and humbling honor to continue to be a part of helping couples make a lasting, positive memory on their wedding day and to create some great memories at our entertainment shows and parties!
